Tesco Shoppers Flock to Buy Cadbury Christmas Tubs Early
- Tesco reduces price of Cadbury Roses and Heroes to £4.50 with Clubcard
- Shoppers deem it perfect for end-of-term teacher gifts
- Large tubs, typically £6, available in stores and online
- Quality Street 600g tub also discounted to £5.40 with Clubcard
Tesco shoppers are snapping up tubs of Cadbury favourites as the supermarket unveils early Christmas deals. With a Tesco Clubcard, customers can purchase large tubs of both Roses and Heroes for just £4.50. This timely offer is being hailed as ideal for end-of-term teacher gifts, despite the festive season still being months away.
Emma Lake reported in The Sun that the reduced-price tubs are already flying off the shelves. Normally priced at £6, these 550g containers are a popular choice for presents. One shopper noted on social media, "They are ready for thank you gifts for teachers," while another added, "Chocolate [is] not just for Christmas!"
The deal is available both in-store and online, though customers should be mindful of potential delivery costs. The supermarket is also offering a 600g tub of Quality Street for £5.40 with a Clubcard, down from £6.
Sainsbury’s and Asda are also joining the chocolate deal frenzy, with Sainsbury’s offering 290g boxes of Roses and Heroes for £4 with a Nectar card, and Asda matching this price for the same size.
Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, commented, "It's fantastic to see these early deals. They provide an excellent opportunity to stock up on festive treats or get a head start on end-of-term gifts.
