Woman receives massive LG smart fridge freezer for FREE - here’s how she did it

Kitting out a kitchen is a seriously expensive part of renovating your home, but one clever money-saver managed to get a brand new LG fridge freezer without spending a single penny.
Danni Cross, 34, an executive assistant from Essex, applied to test and review an LG smart fridge freezer after seeing the opportunity advertised on the Free Stuff, Samples & Coupons UK Group on Facebook, which shares the best freebies in the UK every day.
She was over the moon when she found out that she had been chosen to review the mega appliance, and soon posted a picture of her freebie on the group, where she received nearly 1,000 likes and over 150 comments congratulating her.
Danni told money-saving community LatestDeals.co.uk: "I heard about the deal through Home Tester Club which I am a member of and they email me every time a deal comes live, and I also them saw it advertised on the Free Stuff, Samples & Coupons UK Group.
“The freebie was an LG Smart fridge freezer in silver or an American style but that would not have fit in my kitchen so I choose the single option.
“Who wouldn't want a new fridge freezer? We had a SMEG fridge previously which was some years old and was too small and although it looked pretty it didn't serve its purpose, so this was a perfect tester to enter. Also, a fridge freezer is a lot of money and not money people generally have just after Xmas!"
To get the freebie, Danni had to answer some questions and she soon found out she had won the appliance. Unsurprisingly, she was over the moon.
“The process involved answering about five questions and letting them know about where I lived and what fridge I would want,” Danni explains. “I also had to agree to give them my mobile number. They emailed me on New Year's Eve and it arrived yesterday.
“When it arrived, I felt relieved and excited! There is always a doubt in your mind when it's something this big that it could be a con and I was also in disbelief I was chosen.
"The fridge is a smart fridge and has really shown me the difference between a standard fridge and the new era of fridges. It's extremely spacious and so easy to keep tidy!
“My main tip for people who want to bag freebies is to believe the sites work and are real! Don't give up as you won't get every freebie but in time you will get a good share!
"I have got many items before this but the fridge was the best and biggest item. Also make sure you read the criteria correctly to see if you are eligible and the type of person they are looking for. It also helps to have a good social media platform.”
