Has anyone else watched it? Always hottly anticipated I watched it first in the app this morning. My kids were massive Edgar fans but I have to say I think this is awful. I expect the merchandise will sell quick but I won’t be buying a Snapper this year….

OMG that is just awful, what a shame, 
they used to make such good Christmas adverts, I've been disliking the Morrisons, power ballad oven gloves, Christmas advert, with a vengeance, but John Lewis has just taken it to a whole new level!!
We show it this morning, and my son said it looks like the dogs toy we all agreed is just looks like a piece of tat
Ok, so now John Lewis is going to be known as Little Shop of Horrors ! As soon as I saw it I thought of Audrey ll ( Twoey) from the film.
I haven't seen it yet, but that plush looks naff, but I'm sure my daughter will want it

I got a bit fed up with the john lewis Christmas adverts a few years back. The first one that got popular was good but then after that they just made them to put out toys based on it
emmabeckz ,yes,brilliant, that's my two sisters & I when we get older,going to have as much fun as we can & leave our family & friends with a smile on their faces..
My late Mum was always telling me off for running around when I was in my late 40's,well I'm 58.5 years & still running around, mostly in my Sketchers!!
janphoenix51 This is one of my favourite ones at the moment. It has a lovely storyline and like you I still like enjoying myself in my Sketchers!
MelissaLee1 I still don’t know what the toy is? Thought they were advertising the Venus flytrap! 
MelissaLee1 They are already on eBay , with some priced over £50. I hope JL maintains stocks of these just to stop people cashing in on them on ebay yet again .
Mango4 I'd rather have a Venus Fly Trap plant for real lol.They're a bit gruesome though.
MelissaLee1 I had a mini one M, it was fascinating to see it open and close as you went to touch it
Unfortunately it died after a few months, lack of flies maybe , i always say 'there are no flies on me'
