3 Year Old Girl Christmas Present Ideas?
Ask a Question
I'm looking for ideas of what to get for my 3year old niece, nothing too big as I will need to post it, I'm off to Claires accessory's tomorrow, I have £10 in vouchers to spend, I was going to get some little hair clips but what else in Claire's would be suitable? Help please, I don't have kids and I'm used to buying for nephews which is easy, cars and Lego every time, lol
Girls can like cars and Lego too!
My daughter loves Lego. You can get all sort of more girly themed stuff (like Frozen, Disney Princess) if you’re worried.
It bugs me that there is such gender stereotyping.
snoogans888 I think she wants to use the voucher she has for Claire's and they don't sell Lego or cars
Lynibis ah sorry I thought it was a more general gift question. But reading it again you’re right it was more specific to Claire’s. I’ll try and keep my rage in check in future
snoogans888 ha ha, I wasn't telling you off, I might be wrong as everyone else seems to have taken it as you did.
snoogans888 sorry, didn't mean to stereotype/offend anyone, your quite right girls do also like cars and Lego, xx
snoogans888 Lynibis , yes I did mean suitable stuff in Claire's but I haven't worded my post very well have i, sorry for any confusion xx
It completely depends, I know a few people with 3 year olds and they all have such different interests and different abilities at that age. I personally like gifting fun but educational gifts or something crafty to create.
Puzzles, books, colouring books, Orchard Toys are always usually a good hit with most kids and genders.
You can search certain websites for suitable toys for certain ages, you don't have to buy from there, you could always just look for ideas and look elsewhere:

If you were worried about posting, you could always order from Amazon, you can select it will be a gift and even pay a little more for gift wrap.
I'd ask the parents/guardians if there is anything the child wants or if there is anything they are specifically into at the moment. It's often Bluey or Peppa Pig at the moment
DeBunny thankyou that's all very helpful info, I will have a look in Claire's for pepper pig and bluey themed stuff, xx
How about gloves? If you know she’s keen on unicorns or some such character try and find some with that on plus they’ll be lightweight to post.
You could ask her parents what sort of thing she likes and then look for something suitable in Claires if you are determined to use your voucher.
There's lots of things that a 3 year old would love from Claire's, once you go there just spend a bit of time having a browse around and i'm sure you'll be able to pick something your neice will love, all girls love a bit of sparkle in their life.
HEDGEHOGS I had a look at the website, they do sooo much more than I remember, lol
martinlufc5637 dolls of course seems so obvious now you've said it, lol, don't know why I didn't think of dollsmajor brain fart
I didn't make it today but will go tomorrow, I've not been to Claires for a looooong time, but I've just had a look on the website and they do alot more than I remember, lol, it was just earrings and hair clips when years ago
