Anyone Used the New Temu App?
Ask a Question
I've been seeing lots of adverts for this Temu app. I am very skeptical and think that it is too good to be true. For the prices advertised I can't imagine the products will be good quality. Has anyone used it? If so what are your thoughts?
I've bought twice from them. Their product range is vast, even when you refine your choice to a specific genre. Both times, the order arrived within days, as promised, product quality seems good, as are the prices. Products may be made in China, but I'm fairly sure the packaging (very basic) is actually done in the UK - they seem to have a warehouse for returns up North.
I have brought some lights for the garden, 2 ankle bracelets, pack of knickers, dress, slow feeder for my four paws and a pair of slippers, all good quality and will order again.
I have used it a few times, not had any problems so far. It does take longer for items to arrive. The prices are worth a look!!
Just received some boxers for my son a p.j set for me and a few other bits really fast delivery 5 days early than expected great quality aswell and good size
I also have ordered of them a few times , n ok delivery may take a bit longer to come, but so far so good! I had a pair of sliders that even come with the zip bag like SHEIN . I also think quality is ok for the price we pay! Hope that helps ! My only moan is, And who ever said about being bombarded with txs, that’s so true, other then that it’s ok
I've placed 7 orders with them and am very happy. Same products I've previously bought from amazon at less than half the price. I've had a couple of items broken on arrival but was refunded instantly. Delivery was about a week so if your not in a hurry its a good place to buy. If you find an item check reviews/prices on amazon. They also have lots of offers. I just had £25 off a £50 order. Free delivery. Never thought I'd be able to fill a basket of £50 but I did. I.dont think you will be Dissapointed
Bought loads of items from Temu, the best buy was a dog harness for 49p on one of their flash sales
I expected something shoddy but it is very good quality , i have seen similar for £15 elsewhere , only disappointment is the ring where you clip on the lead is plastic and not metal , but i have checked it and it seems a good heavy duty plastic , it can always be replaced for metal if needed
A quick edit, just got back from a walk with the dog and i realise now the ring i thought was plastic is actually plastic coated metal , so i would give the harness 10 out of 10 , very strong and luminous as i found out tonight
I've used it several times and am pleased with the goods I've received less than a week for delivery
all my TEMU orders have arrived and honestly I really like the shop. Great prices for basics. I wouldnt buy any “brands” though as potentially counterfeit
Tom Glad you got yours in a box Tom, mine always come in a taped to death package of various sizes and shapes. Albeit only 1 item in 12 packages has been damaged but got refunded within 5 minutes of letting them know and told I could keep it (Was a plastic sided shoe rack with tubular metal shelves which loving DIY I'll be able to make use of). Plastic sides had been folded to fit in the package so were warped and cracked. Other than that I'm very happy with all my other purchases....
I have for the first time it came within 2 weeks , I’m happy with the clothes I purchased but the flip flops I bought 1 pair was spot on the other were a bit naff quality but I can’t complain it’s a lot like Shein which I like also , when ordering clothes though always look at reviews for sizing and they have a uk size match as well to help
Yep I'm using I play the games like fishland and farmland I earn fishfood and water by sharing my link/codes with others on social media to win free products, I have won fishland and I received a new pram for my grandson and a set of 3 pj's for me, it takes time and can be time consuming but I enjoy playing
I have to admit I was sceptical at first but got my first order this week. Some of the things will be really helpful but it's easy to get carried away due to some of the prices. I have a couple of things to return let's see how that works out but I love some of the items I have received.
There are various similar sites. I didn't have a good feeling with Wish and opted out of that.
Oh everything my wife ordered turned up but was not that good her trainers fell apart after wearing only once her jeans also fell apart some items took 8 weeks to turn up she said cheap rubbish
I have bought quite a few items from Temu now and all have been of good to great quality. Prices are great with plenty of discounts and offers daily. I have bought mainly tool and gadgets to help with my DIY and crafting and have been pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price. I read all the reviews before making a purchase as obviously its better to know before hand what to expect.. Deliveries have all been within their time frame, packaging is not the best (everything thrown in a orange Temu bag and taped up) a box would be better but so far nothing has arrived damaged.. Very happy with the site and looking forward to my future purchases.....
Isn't it cheap as chips because the workers making the products are paid peanuts in some place like China? Wouldn't it be better to just go to a charity shop? I don't get Temu and I am not interesting in shopping like a billionaire. Since when do billionaires shop, don't they get their personal assistants to do that for them...
I've ordered quite a lot of stuff from Temu. So far I've been really happy with the quality and price. I've received everything I've ordered within a week. If you don't receive your order by the date they give you, you receive a £5 credit.
Heres a good article on Temu
I didnt realise they were losing so much money to promote themselves
It is so cut throat even for the suppliers

Yes i love it. It is 1000000000% better than wish or Ali express. It only takes about 7 days to arrive. Customer service is excellent. So far I have had at least one parcel a month
Yes tried it and waiting on my order coming but my daughter had used it and says it’s really good
well I haven’t, but my partner has. He ordered some racing goggles for my son to go on his quad bike, he told me where he ordered them from and I was like, omg really? Good luck with that. Anyway they came yesterday and we’re actually amazing. Great quality and very smart.
Yes. Just place 2 £40 orders. Its incredible i Temu way better than wish or ali express and your order arrives in 7 days or less.
So tempted to try it for something cheap the nation is divided on this one sounds pot luck to me
The fact it’s Chinese puts me off a bit. I know lots of other things are that I can’t avoid but I try to.
JLouM You'd actually be amazed at how many things you buy come from China. Car industries were almost brought to a standstill when covid started, then again with the Russia/Ukraine war because they were struggling to get the circuits needed from both China and Ukraine for a lot of the parts for some of the top makes of cars....
JLouM Our government isn't much better they s???w us over every chance they get.. They say China is spying on everyone but their all doing the same world wide. Imagine if we were governed like North Korea then we wouldn't even be able to reply to things like this, let alone use the internet...
Don't agree with politics either way but it rules our lives, was trying to get a point across....
Some things worth ordering, night time driving glasses, plasticy but work a treat, key holder, never thought i needed one until now, keys always compact and i know which key is which, wine and champagne stoppers, work perfectly, magnetic mobile phone holder, had to put extra glue on to fix to the dashboard but holding nicely, citrus skin peeler, excellent, used this to zest lemons and make my own limoncello , i could go on
I haven't ordered the car shade umberella yet as not sure of the quality
If anyone else can recommend this or anything else advise would be welcome
I saw some teashirts advertised , they look good on the models , but some customers posted their deliveries and they came crinkled and creased , so not bothered with clothing yet, but have ordered some sandals still to arrive
We ordered from Temu and once the item had been dispatched even had a message saying it was on a flight.
I can’t believe how mixed the reviews are on this site. I haven’t tried it but seems pit luck to me.
I signed up for an account not too long ago seeing it had free shipping, get €100 when you buy three items, etc... Turns out the free shipping required at least a €20 purchase and I didn't even care about the €100 one. Deleted my account shortly after.
It's all about enticing/coercing people to make purchases they don't want. Nope, I'll stick with AliExpress. Thanks.
I have ordered from Temu numerous times now and only had an issue with one of my orders, which after adding photos they refunded the items which had arrived damaged. I love their stickers and you can pick up some other really cute cheap items on there too.
Someone just commented on the Chat section about Temu, it looks like it was removed.
Maybe they would find this thread useful. I've already had my two cents, so I won't be adding anymore on it.
I was also very sceptical, but I can honestly say, having now used the site for a while now I'm very pleased. The items I've bought have been good quality and service extremely good. The only real drawback is as mentioned, being bombarded with offers and adverts.
I've finally done it, I ordered something about two weeks and it came honestly can't fault it with what I got Christmas lights, jumper, some stockings fillers
To be honest i cannot stop ordering things, just when i think i don't need anything else i spot another gadget
My best buys are solar lights with remotes, i have them everywhere around the house and garden, harness and lead for the dog , excellent quality at a ridiculous low price, a few pc accessories, like multi usb hub, wireless mouse etc, a few diy tools , LED ceiling lights , bought a few of these, various items for the car, kitchen gadgets , the list goes on
Just be careful with spam e mails , the scammers are sending them out as if from Temu offering bargain pallets , the same scam they do with Amazon, IGNORE THEM, there is no such thing , it is to steal your bank details
SaveMeSunday Give it a try S, you will be hooked once you get your first order
Dont forget to remove your card from your account after paying
They have a one click way of paying and it is easy to accidentally click on something and pay without knowing
I remove my info automatically now after each order just to be safe by going into my account and clicking on remove card
Also as i mentioned before if you see something dont accept the first price, use the searchbox to get different prices for the same product , sometimes you can get it less than half price this way , especially now with the black friday offers
