Armed Police Arrest 13 Year Old Boy Armed with a Water Pistol.

In the News

Armed units from the Met and City of London Police were sent to the scene, according to the Alliance for Police Accountability (APA).

A police van "rammed" him off his bicycle "without any warning", Bhatt Murphy Solicitors said - "knocking him to the ground".

He was then "surrounded by armed officers who pointed their firearms at him, handcuffed and arrested him on suspicion of being in possession of a firearm", the legal firm added.

The boy was de-arrested at the scene.

I guess this is the inevitable result of the terrorist threat we all permanently live under these days. Especially when we let so many people cross our borders without knowing the slightest thing about their history.

Mother used the race card straight away.

I feel a compo claim coming on.

Playing the race card is just lame, unoriginal, and petty. And no, being white wouldn't change a thing. She's just racist.

Have you seen a water gun? They look pretty convincing.

Here's another toy gun:

Spray paint the guns and they look no different than real ones from a distance.

Someone who robbed people with a fake gun met a fella who took action:

The guy who shot him shouldn't feel bad, he did the right thing ultimately.

P.S. I have a toy gun built like a Lego (bought some years ago from AliExpress) which I then spray painted it black, BUT I never would use it outside. It's just on my shelf with my other toys (Legos, cars, Spider-Man, etc).

Don't use toys that resemble dangerous weapons.

Toy guns do look like the real thing. I don’t think it’s just because the child was black. It would have happened anyway with the amount of crime that goes on. I’m not racist and understand black people have had it hard but I can’t help thinking it’s turning into reverse racism. It’s white people always at fault.

I suppose with all the knife crime going on here amongst kids and teens the police were right to be concerned , owning a gun is just the next stage up in some cases

Thank goodness it was a toy though

To make a fair judgment we need to see a picture of the water pistol cause some of them and bb guns do look realistic.

The police are between a rock and a hard place on this sort of thing, if they do nothing and someone dies it’s their fault and then if they do this people say they are being too heavy handed.
