How Much Bedding Do You Have/keep?

I've been having a clear out, but I'm amazed how many duvet covers we have accumulated. But I'm also unsure how many is the 'ample' amount to keep.
I tend to only use one for each bed, wash it and put it back on, but then we've also got a Teddy Bear fabric/fleece type one.
It got me thinking...
What if we have guests?
What if one of us happens to be sick?
What if a little one has an accident?
Would you keep more sheets than duvet covers?
I did think I'd keep 2 per bed in the cupboard and then a couple of spares, maybe vac pack them.
I'd obviously donate any spares to an animal charity or someone who might like them.
I thought I'd see how many other people kept 
More than I'll ever need but hey there's snow coming lol.I always keep extras for the cat!

I have literally just this week emptied my airing cupboard and whittled down the duvet covers to 3 each, I have also got quite a few unopened packets of pillowcases and fitted sheets, now lets not talk about towels haha.
I have quite a few KS and Double bed duvet covers. I was clearing out the wardrobe and found lots of fitted bedsheets that I'd bought from Dunelm in a sale that I forgot about. You couldn't get them now for the price I paid for them back then.
I was shocked when we had to empty our airing cupboard recently, I have too many sheets, duvet cover sets with matching pillowcases plus dozens of pure white pillowcases. My husband insisted on thinning them out to add to his rag pile in the garage but when I told him how much some of JL 100% cotton sets cost he quickly folded them 
Pjran I know it is amazing how a lot of people accumulate things. Luckily mine aren't very pricey ones, I think I'll keep the last couple we were gifted over the last few christmases from people though.
I don't have 'themed' ones for occasions, plus I probably would still use them throughout the year 
It's like the advent calendar containing socks... no one needs that many Christmas socks (well someone must! 
) but I'd probably buy one if they weren't Christmas themed.
I know we have a cupboard full of the stuff! I dont use any myself as I sleep on the sofa with just a sleeping bag for cover if its cold.
Lots of people out on the street in the cold.Can always leave blankets and duvets out of doors.
Got quite a few bedding sets, mostly from Dunelm, I love their bedding..
Takes up a bit of our wardrobe though!
Too many and have lost count! My family keeps buying new ones when they are on sale offer haha

Probably to much. I've bedding from the 90s that I still use. I have towels from the 80s so I hoard stuff like that
I am obsessed with bedding absolutely love buying new set's. We probably have 20 set's and I'm always on the look out for more . I have to keep the over flow in a laundry basket in the spare bedroom
