Bernie Ecclestone Got Away with It

In the News

After pleading guilty to fraud by not declaring £400m in overseas accounts and has dodged jail.

And then there's people being sent down stealing nappies because they need them.

Seems to be one rule for the rich and one for the poor.

What are your thoughts?

Its always the same. The bankers still have not faced consequences for 2007.

Is it any surprise, we all know how things work. If you or i make a mistake we must pay the consequences but if you have a lot of money or power you seem to be able to do what you want.

I didn't see this post sorry, I also did a topic about it, can't see a way to delete it, it's an absolute disgrace, one law for the rich and one for ordinary people

It`s pathetic on how our justice system works. If that was you or I we would have our bank accounts and assets seized and thrown In Prison. There Is no law In this country. Think they make It up as they go along. They probably google It on what to do or use dot to dot.

Always the same. The 'highest class' wiill always look after 'the highest class'. We are beneath them in their view. You only have to listen to our current leaders past comments to realise the mega rich views on us mere working class. He practically choked on the term.

I suppose we should be grateful that he’s paying £653 million to the HMRC for tax fraud. No doubt the judge took his age in account rather enforcing a prison sentence.

My blood is boiling and its literally the reason why we are probably so angry .Imagine if someone is in the dock and the judge passes sentence and they are sent to prison for stealing much less and he or she says sorry judge I stole much less than Bernie Ecclestone and I am being sent to prison and he isn't .

There has always been two sets of so called justice. The more money you have the less likely you will be sent to prison and even if they are they get a far cushier time inside. It's disgraceful.
