Do You Carry Cash?

Do you carry cash or so you rely on card / Apple pay ect?
I prefer not to carry cash, I find it easier to track what I'm spending online and generally prefer to pay by card.
Just recently Iv been caught short by being only cash!
MumOfThree it’s safer I believe, using supporters such as paypal, to get mugged would be near on impossable, must be incredible for bank owners
I only use cash for small prices. Don't carry much with me. For more expensive items I prefer to use PayPal. Because its easier and faster to get refunds when needed
Hi mumofthree I am disabled and I do not carry cash. Just few coppers. Because I do not feel safe carrying cash with me.. And it's the Same at home I do not have cash in the house. I live on my own and I find it's better for me. The only time I have cash in the house if I've to pay the work man. Then I get it the day be for hand.
Last summer at a music festival i saw many many people turned away from food stalls who only took cash payments, those wanting to pay by card got terribly caught out
I Carry cash as I like to see what I am spending and I like it because once you spend it, it is already gone unlike card payments which you can forget about and then hits your account when you have no money
That's very true, specially as it takes a few days to clear. I forget what Iv spent it on though so can easily see online where it has gone
Where I live it is like the middle ages and a lot of places won't take cards still. I carry what I call car park change and that's it, if any of the places only take cash, I walk away. I do find I spend more now though as it is so easy to use contactless and if you're like me you don't think twice about it or how much these little amounts build up
All these glitch prices have been killing me! I think that's good only a couple of quid but that turns into a tenner in a couple of days! I do keep change in my car for parking just in case but it's minimal.
Cash myself. I don't tend to cary much with me only what I know the item will cost. I tend to budget everything so I know in advance I will need £20 for eg and that will be all I have. That and bus fare.
It is a good way of budgeting - I set myself an amount per week but it's v easy to go over it by card.
I am going back to paying cash as I no longer want everyone to be tracking what I am doing.
I don't mind as much, I keep getting cash back offers from my bank at the places I shop the most so works well for me. Just recently I had 20% staff discount at Morrison's plus 10% cash back from my bank.
Bank cards are so much easier nowadays even if something cost a £1.00 you can just ping your card.... I tell my kids I am like the queen never carry cash
No not any more I always po at on card or phone now so much easier and quicker with kids lol
