Should Catalink Competitions Be Blocked?

Why are Catalink competitions not being blocked? This is a notorious site and other competition sites don't allow it. Not everyone reads the comments before they enter and so people will be being caught by it.
It is on DiCoke's spam list and I think she is pretty well the oracle. It is also not accepted by Loquax or MSE. I can't see the point of risking it.
I think so. This week I dropped the ball twice on dodgy comps here at Latest Deals and I've been doing this since September. my chronic fatigue and brain fog (fibromyalgia) has been terrible and I just was not awake and with it like I normally am. Too late. It would of been great if someone had taken that Catalink comp down. I didn't complete the application, but I started it. And I'm being spammed via post for a comp that was here at the start of the week already. That's all it took, 2 dodgy comps this.
Jaycee5 Yeah, I got an email from them, that I won and I needed to call them and they told me, that they are sending the prize, but never got it.

I see she really took a dislike to you Jaycee5 answering every person who mentioned that they might not be the best to give your info too. Christ she took it personally. Not seeming to realise that in doing so she want helping the image of their 'small company' as she described themselves.
laingsusan55 She sent me a message on the competition thread and I pointed out that no other competition sites accept them. She said that they don't agree to their competitions being shared and I said that there was no problem if she doesn't want her competitions on sites like this. She has responded that she cannot see where she said that (although it is right there on the thread just 2 comments up).
Notice that the person who put up the competition did not come back and respond to people's concerns about it and was first day single competition poster (which usually means it is the company themselves which contradicts her comment about not allowing sharing on comp sites).
I never signed up for them but I remember getting a lot of emails from them some years ago and they took ages to get rid of.
I've told them I am not going to respond any more.
Catalink contacted me and I got the prize I won

Competition websites are a mixed-bag anyway. You either get really lucky and win the prize, you don't or your info gets used for unspecified purposes.
