Dad Shocked by £270 Extra Ryanair Charges at Airport
Ask a Question
On reading this story, it became clear how important it is to read the small print. The charges could have been avoided if they had checked in online, this was the return leg of their flight.
A very cautionary tail. What's the most you have been charged in additional fees.

Yes always good to read the small print. So the old adage if it seems to good to be true it usually is.
My daughter recently travelled with Ryan air and easy jet, unfortunately they do not have the same rules for luggage so her friend had to pay more when boarding one of them.
Budget airlines definitely make travel more affordable for all of us but a lot of them do use underhand tactics to get money out of their customers. Ryanair are probably the worst offenders. For anyone booking with these sort of airlines, make sure you read thoroughly beforehand so you know you've done everything required and aren't left with an extra bill at the airport
I can count on my hand how often this government has got something right and I would probably still 6-7 fingers left but and I would shout from the roof tops the days of especially Ryanair being allowed to call itself a budget airline are history . There is a new law going to be introduced which forbids drop pricing so the figure you see being advertised is the price your going to pay .So like the £10 sun holidays will be 1 that's consigned to the toilet and as I said Ryanair hopefully will be forced to sell at the same price it says on the tin or maybe even increase prices but then improve there customer service.
