Female Frogs Fake Their Own Death to Avoid Males , Is This Too Extreme ?

We all know the age old jokes about having a headache tonight
It seems frogs go one stage further , and play dead to avoid amorous advances from the male
I suppose this stops them 'leaping' on the female , and it 'riddits' them of any intrusive intentions
This can only mean less frogs born or is that 'frogsspawn'

There's a dragonfly that does it as well apparently.Many animals fake death to avoid getting eaten

MelissaLee1 I think they advise you to do it if confronted by a lion too M, but they have other motives than frogs have
telmel I have a big ginger cat .I fake disdain and nonchalance with him but I love him to pieces and he can bite me to bits if he likes lol.
