Tub of Chocolates always goes down a treat or a gift card. You can grab a deal on the tubs If you look around. They are £4.50 each at the moment In ASDA.

The trouble with buying gifts for co-workers is that they then feel compelled to buy you a gift back, which can be embarrassing if they haven't done so at the time of giving. I guess if you all do it every year, that's fine.

Could you organise a secret Santa with a maximum spend of £5 or £10?

Failing that, if you all work together buy a big tub of sweets to share in the workplace, or make a cake.

If you decide to buy them all gifts then a bottle of wine needn't be too expensive.

I find this goes down really well - the last day before you break up for Christmas you could buy bacon butties or sausages butties for everyone! See if you can get them delivered and a discount too! Or a lunchtime sandwich!? X

I would only opt for gift cards these days. I buy supermarket ones for friends/family - everyone needs to eat but most supermarkets also have home/garden products, skincare etc.! 😃

I would maybe suggest a secret Santa instead, and then agree on a budget. It could be a big expense buying for all coworkers and then they may feel awkward if they don’t buy you something. If you do a secret Santa you can also give people the option of doing it or not as some people may not want to participate or may be able to afford to

Your Co workers might be embarrassed if you give them all gifts unless you’re their manager.

Pjran I personally tell my colleagues that I do not want anything because I have everything I need or want and that I need to save my wages to pay for the roof or whatever fib. But if the head office gives us days off work, vouchers or chocolates as a present then it is a yes please and thank you coming from me.

If it's not something you would normally do then why don't you suggest a secret santa for around £10 each to spend, this would save any awkwardness fro colleagues and yu may find they will be up for this idea.
