Bed bugs are huge in Paris at the moment. They can be seen on public transport. Jeez makes you want yo scratch .
I wonder if its climate related. I saw that news story about Chinese Mitten Crabs that are now invading the UK. It seems like just minor increases of temperature suddenly allow species to thrive elsewhere. A slight increase in temperature can also massively increase the reproduction rate of species.

It's like nits, just the thought makes you itch. I really hope they don't spread across the UK in the same way. I like my bed!
Midnightflower agree. We've mot git them here but hovered the bed this morning just in case 
Yes It Is bad. Imagine those things nipping at you while you sleep. No thanks. It Is bad enough a Mosquito biting you which did happen the other night at work. Darn things.
I think the report I read suggested that they are coming over in the fabrics of trains/planes etc which makes me wonder whether the rest of europe are also being infected with them as they are closer then we are.
I remember watching programs where border controls in other countries even stop people with mud on their boots to prevent contamination in their own countries so it also makes me wonder what our own border control do....
On the positive side with all the blood loss you might lose a bit of weight over time.
