Only if what I want to wear is badly creased, but most of my clothes don't need ironing. My sister in law ironspretty much everything, she loves ironing and calls her family while she does it 😂

I have very few clothes that require ironing, even then I only iron when I'm wearing one of those items the next day.

You couldn't pay me to iron! In fact the last thing I did iron was my husband's shirt for our wedding over six years ago 😂

I only iron what has to be ironed, usually my husbands husband shirts and some of my work clothes but I don't iron anything that doesn't need it. Just don't have the time

Yes husband’s shirts and work uniform or evening outfit if going out (which is rare). Only as needed.

I remember back in school one of my friends being upset cos she’d to wear yesterdays socks to school. Her mum hadn’t done the ironing so there was none for her. We were all asking her did her mum really iron her socks while she was shocked none of us had clean “ironed” socks everyday. To this day I’ve never met anyone who irons socks

I only iron the bare minimum. usualy a couple of shirts as I have to go into the office twice a week. One shirt I can get away with but the other one really needs ironing sadly. Nothing else ever gets ironed if I can help it

I do iron my clothes and for others in my family. I don’t iron everything. I used to work for an elderly lady and had to iron all her bed sheets etc, that was a real pain.

I have not ironed now for at least 20 years. It is not necessary in this day and age with all the up to date technology

kate1310 I never iron bed covers - duvets. All my duvet covers are from Argos, Asda, Tesco and Sainsburys and do not need ironing. A waste of electricity if you ask me.

Like many other, I own a iron but only use it when I really have too. My mum always taught me to shake the washing before hanging it which helps alot with creases.

No need unless it's 100%cotton or silk. Carful washing/line drying prevents a lots of ironing for me

Iron most of my clothes. I used to absolutely hate ironing as I would always end up burning my clothes. But since my new iron I've actually enjoyed it. As it prevents burns.

I only iron my son's clothes for work. As for me and my hubby, it's taken off the clothes line and hung straight onto hangers. Image

How is everyone getting away with not ironing? All my clothes always need it even when they've been hung they always still look like they need ironing. I'd love to know as I LOATH ironing.

I don't iron bedding, pjs etc, but clothes absolutely.

Glitterandgold I thinking depends alot on the type of clothing you wear, the material type makes a big difference, I don't wear a uniform form work anymore, skinny jeans and Primark t-shirts just don't need to see the iron, but if you have uniforms, work blouses, kids school clothes ect it's a different story I would imagine

I iron everything even socks and towels, I find everything packs away better when it’s ironed. I do it in front of the telly so it’s not a great hardship

Not anymore, only for special occasions, funerals, weddings ect, tbh I have a few items in the past, that I have only worn once, as they came out the wash sooooo creased,I just can't face ironing them, I pay attention to material type when buying new clothes these days

Last time I touched the iron was to shorten some curtains with wonder web…and that’s only because they were cheap! Lol.

Ironing is a complete waste of life imho, and should only be done with clothes for weddings and funerals.
