I've Lost My LD mojo....how Do I Get It Back?
Latest Deals
I hope I'm not alone and I wonder how I can get the excitement back. I used to post deals, vouchers etc almost everyday but nowadays it's a struggle. I know I've unsubscribed from a few mailing list so don't get that many emails but the desire to post deals and voucher codes have gone. Anyone else know how to get the excitement back?
Do you feel you need to? I love LD, it is a great cross between social media and a way to find deals and comps which may lead to a nice surprise. However, I am beginning to realise I spend way too much time on it and not doing other things I should. I have promised myself that I will stop at the end of October so I can come back fresh in a few months time.
Maybe just take yourself away for a bit of a break for a few months and come back and see how you feel after your break, maybe just what you need. Or just take a rest from posting deals and vouchers and join in on some of the chat, go with whatever works for you .
I keep focusing on sharing with others to help them make savings! My secondary goal is to build my points to the next level, then take a break
Just have a little break.
I was out of the Country the week before last, so wasn't on this or any other sites.
Sometimes all it takes is a little breather.
it is good to have a break from competitions, especially if you enter lots of them. I got to the stage where I got annoyed if I ran out of time in an evening to enter compos. Had a break and now its not so important. If I have the time I will, if busy then wont. Just need a win or two now...
Take your foot off the pedal for a while. Posting is not an obligation.Just wander by at leisure and do something rather than nothing.I took a break from chat posting for a while ,same deal posting.Just do what you feel like and keep on chipping away at the sides.
It can take rather a long time to get the required points for the Amazon voucher which can be a little frustrating but don’t give up. Treat yourself to something that you would normally is a bit expensive.
I stopped doing it for a little while as I found that I wasn't in the right head space for it. But I've come back to it again after a few months and am enjoying it again. Maybe just check out the chat section or look at the deals rather than posting.
It can become a little repetitive but i like it when i find a good deal so others can also benefit. I imagine as christmas gets closer there will be a lot of cool things to post
I haven't posted comps etc for over a year, lost the time and never quick enough. Now I check/participate mainly on chat and do the odd comp.
