What's the LEAST money saving thing you've ever done?
Mine would be a tie between having a child and buying a house because they both cost me a fortune lol.
Buying house and having a £10k wedding 20 years ago. Still worth it though. Oh and learning to drive with loads of lessons then buying car at £8k joint with husband.
For my 40th Birthday I blow a ten year endowment policy in a week, £2k, I went to Ragdale Hall, Health Farm, by myself for a week, it was heaven. Had lots of lovely treatments, first and last time I booked what I liked without looking at the prices. I was pregant for my 30th, so took it out so I could enjoy my 40th
beccatavender Good for you and I am glad you enjoyed spending your own cash as you pleased.
I don't really see anything we do as least money saving. We set a budget for our wedding and actually came in under it and had the most beautiful day. We made overpayments on our mortgage and it helped when buying our new house.
I think the least money saving thing we have the interest on the mortgage! For me interest on anything, like a mortgage, car payment etc is the least money saving thing we do.
Trying to convince myself that making my own birthday and Christmas cards would be more economical ....ha ha
Apart from having kids, taking them all to Disney land in Florida for 3 weeks, I was sick most of the holiday lol
