Man accused of posing as a mannequin to steal jewellery from shop in Poland

In the News

Just when i thought i have seen and heard it all before i am surprised by a thiefs total brass neck

This burglar stood still in the window of the jewellery section of a store in Poland pretending to be a dummy

He stood still amongst the mannequins until they closed then came to life to steal from the jewellery section and other various departments

It was not the first time he had stolen, once he dined for free by waiting for the store restaurant to close, and then changed his old clothes for new ones before walking out and going back into another shopping centre for another free meal

In a third incident he waited for the store to close to steal money from various tills

At least it seems Poland justice system is not as soft as ours, he looks to be facing up to 10 years in prison

He will have plenty of time to practice standing still there, but perhaps not in the showers 😵‍💫

Got to give the man some credit for trying this as it’s something you’d see on a tv show or in a film. But yeah good job he got caught

jms19 About time! Just think of the amount of money the various shops were losing because of him and his sort.

It made me laugh so much...obviously not the right way to go around things..but I thought back to when we were kids and did pranks..not at this level...but all harmless with what is going on in the world right now.

Kitty10 I was thinking to myself what might have happened if one of the staff decided to put another outfit on the 'dummy'

I would like to have seen him get out of that one 😄
