The "New" "Sport" Called Slap Fighting

Other

This "sport" has existed for a very long time though now it has become mainstream and unlike Boxing and MMA, opponents cannot defend themselves at all.

These so-called "slaps" are more so open punches and can cause serious damage to a person's face, hearing, and whatever else.

Here's a short video of a doctor explaining it:

That being said, they consented to it and are grown adults so if they get brain damage or etc, it's their own fault.

UFC's Dana White has created his own version called Power Slap, but even from the thumbnail people can see that's an open punch / palm strike than just a slap.

Lastly, they are adults so let them be. If this "sport" were to be banned it'd still continue somewhere else.

Leannexxx Funny? Each to their own.

People's lives can change (for the worse) from playing that dumb "sport."

PhilipMarc yeah that's true but in most sports anything can happen and they know the risk

Leannexxx True, they do.

However, the hockey player who was intentionally murdered did not expect it, but that doesn't normally happen.

I hope Petgrave is thrown in prison for a lifetime.
