How Much Do You Pay for Dog Grooming?

How much do you pay for Dog Grooming? 🐶

A friend has a Cockapoo that they get done every 2-3 months and they have a mobile groomer who comes to the house! For that convenience alone, I think it's well worth the £35.

I don’t as I have Labradors but for a dog groom in my area it’s £50

tara73ziva Won't the cost depend on the breed/amount of work to be done? I don't anywhere that charges just a standard price.

A few years back when I had a westie it cost me about £10 at a locals lady house. My dog hated it, so much so that even when we walked past the house on dog walks she would cower. I then decided to buy a grooming kit and do it myself.

I have 3 dogs, one is a puppy. My cockerpoo costs £55. My spaniel costs £50 and my puppy is £30. The cockerpoo I learnt to groom myself during lockdown and is quite easy, I just send him to the groomer once or twice a year. The spaniel is working type so he's fairly short coated, only needs 3 times per year and the pup is another working spaniel type so again will be about the same. The groomer I use, is 1:1 , no crates or cages or other dogs around and she allows 3 hours per groom. They all love going

A friend started up her business as a dog groomer. No skills needed just common sense, self taught and now it’s a little goldmine.

Honestly dog groomers got so expensive, my partner went on YouTube and learnt the basics. Now we have a lovely groomed Pom for free 🤣
