Sainsbury's Food Warning over Disease Causing Bacteria Linked to Meningitis
In the News
This is just a heads up over one of the supermarkets products
Sainsbury's has recalled its Taste the Difference Chorizo Iberico Ring because Listeria monocytogenes have been found in some of the products
It is quite serious as the bacteria is linked to meningitis
The affected products come in pack sizes of 200g and have best before dates between November 23 and January 16.

Jackscot think they will have removed it from the shops. They are recalling it from those who already have brought it. To he fair its probably a slim chance people will get it but they understandably have to be safe.
Pjran Yes in serious cases that this they should make it more public
I was thinking why don't supermarkets have an app for loyalty card customers that gives an automatic warning when a product is recalled, you would then get an alert to your mobile
Ok it might not alert all, not everyone has a card or phone , but at least the majority of people would get to know
Thanks for letting us know as that will be struck of my shopping list. Don't buy much, just a pack of slices for paella.
