How to Stop WhatsApp Notifications

Give this a go:-

Step 1: Open the Settings app on your Android phone > Navigate to Apps & Notifications and tap on it.

Step 2: Locate WhatsApp and tap on it. ...

Step 3: Tap Notifications and turn off the toggle next to Show Notifications.

Step 1: Open the WhatsApp Web on your PC's browser.

If you click the 3 dots in the top right hand of the screen it will give you a list, go to settings and then to notifications, you can change the settings there I think.

But if you stop them you won't get any of the messages unless you go on the app itself

I only receive WhatsApp notifications when someone sends me a message. Which is pretty handy.

Just turn them off, but you will not know if you have any messages
