After a few sunny days it appears we are in for the first storm of autumn.
We're due a right stinker tomorrow, 50mph wind and heavy rain
I'm just hoping that our greenhouse won't get blown in.

..driving when it's like this isn't fun. I drive back roads to get to work as its in the middle of nowhere so when it's windy run the risk of trees being down

I worry about our trees smashing into cars or on our neighbours house when high winds are forecast.
Pjran I think so. Where I am it was a rain shower and slightly windy. I know Devon and Cornwall lost power.
Yes but where I live the washing on the line will get a brilliant blow for 4 hours. I'm going to make the most of it !
