I was given a wooden build-your-own wine rack and another year I was given a cheap outdoor wind chime 🫣

Sugarbabe did you ever build the wine rack? I can imagine that would be a good gift for some people but i personally don’t like wine so would be a bit pointless for me

My aunt 1 year got a strange gift from her then daughter in law. She looked for odd presents and bought my aunt a diy craft set of some sort. My aunt wasn't pleased lol she loved perfume and nighties etc.

When I was a teacher I got a jam jar with purple liquid in with a beautiful bow wrapped around it. When I asked the child what was in the jar she said coloured water, I made it myself. Thought it was lovely!

A pack of bacon and a dishcloth. I received the ‘gifts’ from my ex-mother in-law. As you can imagine, she didn’t like me very much 😂😂😂

A small square box of tissues gift wrapped from my mother in law because they matched the living room decor. Nothing else just an 89p box of tissues.

When I was moving into my first house my aunt gave me a 'present' of dusters, dish cloths, tea towels and cif all in a brown cardboard box. It was thoughtful but I was expecting something more exiting.

My OH got gifted Alan Carrs autobiography from his mum. He doesn't like Carr nor had ever mentioned him. A celebrity autobiography is not something that would ever interest him. The look of perplexity on his face still makes me laugh when I remember.
