TV License Scam Email

Other

Received this email and thought it was from TVL themselves because I did cancel the subscription/license, but looking at the email address I noticed it was from a scammer and this somehow bypassed the spam filter.

If I'd click that "Continue here" it'd open a dodgy website so always be careful with emails and read the sender and the link(s) provided before opening it.

I wasn't going to renew it anyway even if it was from the actual TV License themselves as I don't watch Live TV / Online Streams or use the iBBC Player.

Actual BBC TV License actually seems like a scam to me anyway. Forced taxation for entertainment services should be illegal. They should always be fully optional especially in the digital age. ITV is funded by advertising so should not be illegal to watch live ITV if you haven't got a TV license.
