Have you saved money by purchasing goods on either Amazon or Ebay this year, and what was the product? Would you have purchased the same product if you were shopping in your usual town centre? Do you feel that advertising has a lot to do with your purchase ?

I've had a few good deals from both eBay and Amazon, eBay a cordless drill for £9 which is great and various toys from Amazon
Fatabelly it's been one of those very long days lol, I wouldn't mind using the drill on the kids today 
martinlufc5637 cordless drill for £9 is awesone buy and even better if it works lol! But seriously it just shows that you can still get good things without purchasing branded names
I've had loads of really good Amazon deals this year.
I quite enjoyed the £25 tequila that I had for £12. I bought a couple of those.
Had a good deal today on Pedigree pouches for Harvey the woofer. I got 4 boxes and saved around £5 on each one.
TheChimp the pedigree sounds like the one I purchased too.....that was a brilliant deal
probably my laptop which came with a "£270 saving" although in reality it was a £150 saving.

SaveMeSunday yeah I've seen these but thought they were a gimmick but.more and more folks saying they are great value
I was quite pleased with the android tablet from Amazon. It was about £54 and had decent spec with a very high res screen, decent processor and 4GB of memory and 64GB of storage. Came with case, mouse and bluetooth keyboard too. However the 5Ghz wifi is a little flaky but I think that is my router rather than the tablet as my mother has similar issues with the same model of router.
