Womans house smelled fishy for weeks , there was a dangerous reason

In the News

When this woman started smelling a fishy odour in her bedroom she was going frantic trying to find where the smell was coming from

She even checked her drains and U bend but there was nothing there

After consulting google she suddenly realised it could be an electrical fault

So she got her brother in law, an electrician, to check it out

And lo and behold there was a loose wire in the fusebox that was shorting and the plastic coating was gradualling melting

The smell of melting plastic apparently is similar to the smell of fish

So the next time you sense something fishy going on in the bedroom, check your fusebox , it 'cod' be a loose wire
