Iceland, the supermarket, is giving you a 10% discount over the Christmas period if you have a Blue Light Card:

A bargain hunter, Ellie, wrote to Iceland Foods and got confirmation. They said:

"I can confirm that we are running an Emergency Services discount in store, which is applicable to employees of the Police, Fire Service, NHS, HM Coastguard, and RNLI which entitles you to a 10% discount. This is running in store from the 27th November - 17th December."

Can you get this if you're part of HM Forces?

Yes you can. The promotion is being run through the Blue Light Card, a discount card for emergency services, NHS and Armed Forces.

Registering for a card costs £4.99 and it lasts 5 years.

How do I get the discount?

  • You must be a member of Blue Light Card
  • You can then get a unique code for Iceland

This will be for one of three discounts:

  • £4 off £40,
  • £5 off £50
  • £6 off £60
For more information press the blue button and read the information on Iceland's website.
