By what measure is this a deal?
Not only is it the same £1 the co-op always ask everyone, it’s also exactly £1 more than every other supermarket asks.
Started going to co op stores now. They are improving. Will buy some. Lovely deal posted by you
Absolutely nothing wrong with this lovely Co-op offer, great to have while watching the Euros.
Although I don’t go very often, the Co-op
Loyalty scheme is great. I love that it works on reduced price items too.
I have been using Coop card for a long time and you can save money with this card. Thanks for your sharing.
Absolutely love the Co-op, been with them for years and even have both our kids joined, so we all benefit. Recently used points to grab Ice Cream, daughter was amazed when I didn't pay
Waste of time and money! Pay a pound for membership of the most expensive supermarket there is! Even Ocado is cheaper than the Co-Op, and a damn site better quality too!
Co-Op fresh fruit and vegetables are always battered and manky! And their own brand products are always more expensive than other supermarkets.
Annoyingly the member's prices doesn't always work. Popped in to get some milk and it should have been £1.50 member price not the normal £1.65 and presented my card but looked at my receipt later and it was £1.65. I did have some very good offers in there but its annoying they don't have a reliable way of always getting your membership discount. It's like if there is a break in connection with Coop's own servers it just doesn't work. However my weekly offers did work so I got a box of cornflakes for 30p (80p minus my 50p weekly voucher) and my pot of double cream for £1.00 (40p off normal price). The freezer deal also worked so got that for a fiver which was fish and chips, magnums etc.
The only place that charges for loyalty card yes. They have stopped the points from the start of 2024 so you can spend your points but nomore new points.
Once you choose your two offers you cannot change so you have to be careful. Best to select offers once in store.
The offers like 50p of meal deal and weekly offers can be combined such as innocent 50p and rubicon 50p. Once in a whilst you get £1 off your shop.
We joined a few years ago and when they have the five freezer favourites and the Pizza and Beer deals, you get an extra pound off, thanks
NAH! Still too expensive for shopping better going to Aldi and Lidl and get more for your money.
I joined this recently only to find out they are closing lots of stores and ours is one of them
I put off getting one for ages as I didn’t see why I should pay for a loyalty card but i straight away got a voucher for a pound off which paid for the card.
I do think it’s an expensive way to shop but when you just want a few things it’s much more convenient than going to a big supermarket.
You shouldn't need to pay to join any membership to a store to get discounts. It's just a way of making people pay a fee even if you get the £1 back what you're selling is your details
Gonna sign up for this. Don't use co-op regular but still some stuff to make use of. Thanks
