I will have to take a look and get myself a passport! Not been abroad for years.
EarlyWorm I have missed going abroad too. I received my passport a few days ago & have just booked one of these great deals to suprise my best mate in Amsterdam as I was talking to him the other day & he is feeling a bit home sick so I am going for new year to suprise him. I am certainly going to make the most of my passport & getaway as much as possible. There is always great deals on holidays/flights & getaways on this site, so get your passport & treat yourself to a wee break
That's a great offer. Will check dates and availability, and book a break away. Thanks for sharing this deal.
Awesome offer on a Eurostar train to 3 European countries, I'd love to go, great price and deal.
Fantastic deals & my passport has just arrived I'm just waiting on my best friends boss getting back to me this afternoon as to which day to travel to Amsterdam & he will pick me up & surprise my mate for new year. I'v not seen him for 10 months but when he called me last week he was feeling a little home sick. His boss is even going to give him an extra 3 days paid holiday.
Thank you ever so much for posting this as I probably wouldn't of thought about going over to surprise my mate. We are going to have the best new year
There's some really great prices on here. I've never travelled eurostar before. I'll have a good look at this one. Thanks for sharing.
Before you get too excited....... we went on a Eurostar break earlier this year and there was no contact number for when things went wrong and they did go wrong for a lot of people this year 2022. We were shuffled around for over 3 hours at Gare du Nord into multiple queues with no-one telling us what was going on. No seats were made available to sit on at the station and the Eurostar staff remained tight lipped about everything. In the end we watched our train leave the station whilst still standing in a queue on the French customs side, still trying to find out what was happening. Finally we got issued some leaflets (NOT tickets) with no explanation what was happening and had to run down the platform to try and get seats together on a carriage on a train several hours later and also delayed. Needless to say they had given us leaflets which were not guaranteed to be seated together even though we had paid for them on the train that had departed earlier. It was chaos. We returned home in separate carriages. I have waited 3 months to get the problems with delays and lack of information sorted and just got given the statutory £70 between our family as a refund as per their terms and conditions. Even then there was no explanation just "we were very busy that day" response. All this has to be done by email with no direct 'phone number. Not as reliable as flying as you have someone to talk to at the end of the 'phone. They even quote to give them a "call" on the website (today i checked) if you need to change your travel plans "If you decide to call or visit us at our ticket office to make an exchange, please note that a service fee of £10 per transaction applies to Standard and Standard Premier bookings." Which is not true as they have no number to contact. You have to wait months for an acknowledgement and wait for their decision. Am just giving you my experience of travelling with Eurostar, as a family, on what was supposed to be a relaxing/dream trip to Paris !
Love this and need this. Haven’t been anywhere for god knows how many years with my husband. Thanks so much x
