You Can Now Get Gin And Tonic Easter Eggs
- Grown up Easter Egg launched by luxury chocolate company The Treat Kitchen
- Comes with sweets of the same flavour
- Also a prosecco version
To the delight of gin lovers everywhere, luxury chocolate company, The Treat Kitchen, has just released a gin and tonic flavoured egg.
Created to compliment its gummies and hard boiled sweets of the same flavour, the Nottingham based confectionary company has created the egg to give adults an alternative for Easter.
If gin isn’t your thing, there’s also a strawberry and prosecco flavoured egg by the same company.
Both eggs come with gummy and hard boiled sweets in the same flavour as the egg, and they’re only £9.95 each.
The Treat Kitchen is not the first place to come up with the idea of a boozy Easter egg, but it is the cheapest.
Gourmet chocolatiers, Prestat, brought out a similar egg last year, which was a gin and lemon flavoured Easter egg for £17.50, which came with alcoholic truffles in a white chocolate egg.
Hotel Chocolat also has an alcoholic egg, named ‘Your Eggsellency’, which is £27, and comes with 12 truffles with different spirits in, ranging from whisky to cognac.
If alcoholic eggs aren’t your thing, you can get a huge Daim Easter egg from Cadburys this year, which comes with a bar of Daim chocolate too.
For pet lovers, you can also pick up an egg for your cats and dogs from B&M, so they can join in on the Easter fun too.
