Mum Reveals Hack for Finding 10p Toys at B&M

As far as bargains go, you can’t do much better than grabbing one for pennies, so one mum was delighted when she managed to pick up a Spider-Man set for just 10p.
Stephanie Lawrence was shopping at B&M in Southampton when she spotted the bargain toy.
She shared her find to the Latest Deals, Extreme Couponing & Bargains Group on Facebook and soon got over 100 likes from fellow money-savers.
Impressed members of the money-saving community commented: “Wow! Well done!” and tagged friends, writing: “We need to go to B&M.”
Stephanie, 28, a customer advisor from Andover, told LatestDeals.co.uk: “I am an avid bargain hunter and always check every corner of shops for deals! I just found the Spider-Man set on the bottom shelf with a price of 10p. I then took it to the till to check this was correct and it was!”
The mum-of-two gave the toy to her six-year-old son Jaiden, who she said was delighted with the gift.
“My top tip would be to always check the corners for bargain bins or clearance areas,” Stephanie added. “If possible, use scanners so you can check the prices as many times items are cheaper than advertised. You can use in-store scanners or scanning apps.”
Tom Church, Co-Founder of Latest Deals, has top tips on how to use the B&M scanner app.
He says: “Download the B&M app onto an Android or iPhone, then select the Barcode Price Checker on the app, and then hold the barcode in front of your phone’s camera.
“The price will then come up, and could be different to what is advertised. Shoppers can use this to find items where the price has hugely dropped, but the advertised price hasn’t been changed yet. It allows shoppers to find some great deals and discounts in the store that others might not know about.”
