2.2 Million Litres of Red Wine Flow through Village like a River

In the News

Talk about 'cry me a river', this was a crying shame

We are used to seeing floods nowadays especially with climate change

But this one was different , it was red wine and over 2 million litres of it that came from ruptured storage tanks

I dread to think of the total cost of the loss to the wine company, when some red wines cost up to or exceeds £10 a bottle

Anyone caught up in this torrent would probably have a massive hangover afterwards

Omg I just read that. Think I’d been standing by with few buckets and bottles to catch it in. I love glass of red wine
