The Most Annoying Ads on TV or Radio?

Ask a Question

Which advert on either the TV or radio really annoys you?

For me, it's the "Mia, can you send me that?" Advert for Samsung, closely followed by the holiday company that use a Christmas song, "Its the most wonderful time of the year" in their advert all year round!

I find all charity adverts annoying. They are so depressing and I spend the whole time wondering how much they pay their CEO.

While it's important to advertise charities I agree the ads guilt us.

Pfs speaking as a woman I find them sickening and totally embarrassing, especially in male company. Constantly pushing boundaries to see how far they can go and no one objects so they go further. No care for people's sensitivities, but that's usually us olduns as youngsters have been raised in this brave new world where anything goes.

(There are a few male ones I don't like as well!)

I hate ALL adverts. The over 50s life assurance annoy me along with charity adverts.

I record most of my stuff and fast forward through the ads, but I heard a rumour that Sky are thinking about changing subscribers £5 to do this.

Overall, charity ads suck the most. And if you give to them, they'll hassle you.

When you go shopping nowadays likes of Tesco as you do you want to donate.

Pfs It's the same with a lot of them.

The money comes from the consumer, not the companies. McDonald's are the worst imo asking everyone to donate the buyers 1p on their orders and McDonald's taking the credit for donations.

Almost all. It's why I don't watch Live TV and have YouTube with various add-ons to block ads.

On Android I use an app called DNS66 which blocks ads for apps with ads, so when enabled I don't see. As for YT, I use Vanced (but there's a newer version called Revanced).

However, if you want to make purchases thru TCB/Quidco you'd need to turn it off.

All adverts annoy me which is why I no longer watch live tv. IF there is ever anything decent to watch I record it so I can skip the adverts. But mainly I stream or download

As this is a repeat topic from way back I can't remember if I have already mentioned this one: Woman lying on sofa crying and whinging looking at her pet dog (who is sitting aloof across the room looking puzzled) and telling him she doesn't know how he does it, and how wonderful he is.

Well if that's the case why aren't they snuggled up together with him showing his doggy devotion and her smiling. The fact she is sobbing away would somewhat suggest he is of no use at all! Not even sure what the ad is about, probably dog food.

Go Compare especially when that Tenor singer starts singer. Volume down on TV when that happens.
