What Do I Do After A Bad Hair Cut?

So I've just been for a haircut and told him not to cut the top of my hair, so he goes and cuts 3 quarters of it off!!!! So now I look like a potato and was wondering if theres anyway I can make it grow faster or make it look better i am a male too
Mash it, fry it or sauté it other than that I would purchase a decent hat. If it is that bad and you have a chip on your shoulder about it get the hairdresser to pay for the hat and get a refund.

Without seeing it no one can answer your query. Even seeing it I doubt anyone would know a way to make hair grow quicker or they would be a millionaire. You don't even say if you are male or female, but as the previous poster said, ask for a refund if you clearly told him not to cut the top. Oh......and don't go there again.

Men's hair grows so fast anyway so I wouldn't worry too much. Own the potato look. Lol
It's hard to give suggestions without seeing it, but maybe have a look on Youtube- a lot of people end up with bad haircuts and there are videos on there offering advice and styling tips to make it look a bit better.
Just go with the flow it will grow back in a few weeks but I would have said when they went to cut the top and I definitely would not have paid for it and would not be going back to that barbershop

That potato comment cracked me up sorry. I have had my hair done and beard and got much the same result. Don't take much off the top and just tidy the beard. More than 3/4 off the top and well the beard is tidy but a fraction of the size it was. A little upset as it's not what I was after but will live with it and it looks good. Won't take long to grow back tho
.... well the entire family LAUGHED at my last basic cheap shaggy cut .... 4 weeks ago .... so my answer is to grow it and just try, try, try again.... but it's till too short to do anything with ..... even if you're Vidal Sassoon ...or whatever today's equivalent may be! Get your own clippers (I recommend Phillips , certainly not the useless Chinese rubbish you often see on here) , just give it an all over on the 1 or 2 cm setting once every week or two . No more paying for haircuts , no more inane chat from the Barber and save yourself a fortune from disappointing cuts ?
My husband would love to be in your situation, he’s bald and the little bit he has he shaves. Saves lots not buying him shampoo.
Oh dear, there's not really much you can do but disguise it in some way, bonus is it will grown back quickly.
