Are You a Cat or a Dog Person?

We have cats and dogs and I love them all but I know the cats have a special place for me and my husband is definitely more a dog man. Do you prefer one over the other?
Kitties are way cuter than dogs but dogs are more reliable and can be considered a friend, a defender for you as he/she (female dogs are called b*tches, seriously!) knows you.
Some others teach dogs to be violent and then they're ruined for life, and possibly someone who becomes a victim.

Thanks Lynibis. I wasn't sure what to say to RegularComper90. Obviously, don't want to upset anyone but as a newbie to chat unless you trawl back through literally hundreds of conversations you don't realise you are, presumably chatting the same old stuff,lol
Lol Lynibis, I would never dare think of anyone as an oldie 
. If I thought at all in the first place it should have been pretty obvious it would have been talked about a million times and I'm still working on GOW
I love all animals but having owned both, i realised i‘m more of a dog person... cats dont provide me with enough love and they often dont want your affection.. unlike dogs 
I am definitely a dog person! I love that they are such great companions but equally their personalities change so much which I think is great to get to learn their quirks.
Both, love dogs and currently have 2 Dogue De Bordeaux.
Previously I have had 4 cats.
Ive had both, although cats are easier and mire independent there is something special with dogs
