Did you have a Childhood Pet?

did u have a childhood friend that was an animal . was it your pet or a stray that u got friendly with ? I actually had a black and white cat called Tommy and he was an unusual cat because he was huge for a cat ... he was actually muscly and had long legs that made himm twice the size of a normal cat . people could identify him from a distance because of the unusual size of him .. he used to follow me to school daily and on a few occasions i actually saw him sleeping on the cupboards in the cloakroom as if he was waiting of me ... he was a great friend to me and never left me and when i fell out with my friends he would be lied at the bottom of my bed waiting for me to come home and give me a cuddle which always made me smile after the trauma of arguing or fighting with my so called friends of our gang ... when i was 11 i remember mum running in the house n grabbing a towel and running back out into the street as fast as she could without saying a word but it was instinct something was wrong ... Tommy had got run over by the local idiot that used to speed round the streets . He had hit a girl that was only 6 few week before and she broke both of her legs .... mum came in carrying tommy in the towel that was white when she left the house but was red when she came back .. my lil brother asked what the red was and it clicked it was tommys blood ... we took him to the vets but sadly our tommy had died before we got there... i was really sad for months mum got us another cat but he wasnt the same ... there was only 1 tommy n sadly i still miss him
