One of my favourite drinks is Morrisons hot chocolate which was priced at 69p in 2022, its now £1.35-£1.49, so basically doubled in price!!

I've noticed a few things still going up in price but other items that are going down. It's all a bit random. I tend to resist price increases if I can so will buy something else if there is a suitable alternative.

Nearly everything has shot up in price. However, I have noticed some dairy products are less now eg butter.

KAW18 I've found that at Aldis they do microwavable egg fried rice 42p, basmati rice 39p, plain rice 39p, and generally they average about 39p-42p......and they are as goods as Ben's, or even better on the egg fried rice.....Worth trying, you won't be disappointed

Last year I was paying £1.25 for Walkers multi pack crisps x 6. Now I am paying: Iceland - 2 for £3. Asda 2 for £3.25.

jam45 yes crisps is another item that's getting silly prices too. I find the boxes of 20 packs of Walkers crisp are the cheapest. I get these from Tesco on offer at £4 usually £4:85. Morrison's sell them too.

jam45 that's disgusting really as I class crisps as a treat, so it makes you wonder how much places like Iceland and asda are making profit wise.....Give us a break supermarket's, and you've said you're putting prices down but I've noticed it's mostly things that folks don't buy unless it's a treat....I noticed Anchor ready grated mature cheddar on special in Morrisons saying 25p cheaper than last year, I thought that was pretty good until an assistant was talking to another assistant stating that they weighed less than last years packets!! Con artists grrrrr, makes my blood boil!!

I know everything has gone up but I now won't but the little boxes/packets of cakes, I can't beleive the prices of these, I always used to buy the odd ones at £1ish but won't pay £3.00 for them.
