Help help I desperately need cold remedies advice

This cold is terrible had it for over a week has anyone got any ideas possible cold remedies please to help get rid of it!
You can only try to relieve the symptoms. There’s loads of the usual medication but I find strong menthol sweets help clear the nose.

Our immune systems are shocked cos of not mixing for years and now allowed to mix
ellengully you are so right my husband and I have been shielding and it's really floored us!
I work with kids and in schools. Pre rona my immune was so much better same for the kids. Now the kids and staff are getting things that normally wouldn't really drain us is really flooring us. Kids pretty much sneeze and want to go home or panic they have rona. It's getting better less talk of rona from the kids thankfully
ellengully it's been a tough few years but thank goodness we are still here.Thank you for replying it was so good of it makes us feel a little better that other people have found the same if that not doesn't sound bad!
I have had a cold for about 4 weeks just can't seen to shift it my throat is so sore I have tried loads of things it feels like it's going away then next day iam worse it's our immune systems with not mixing with people
