Yes my dog has been like this before. Sometimes gets a runny nose as well. They can get a hoarse bark from barking too much as well. Just check inside your dogs mouth if they'll let you as my dog had an absess in his mouth that needed antibiotics, he also had an ear infection.

Yes, it is possible for a dog to have a sore throat. They can get colds just like humans. If you are worried, take him to the vets.

Also kennel cough gives them cold symptoms so might be worth a vet looking at them if you're worried 🙂

Animals are much more fragile than humans and they can suffer through so much yet be silent about it the whole way. We have a dog and the mosquitoes have been eating and planting seeds inside his ear, a good chunk of his ear was eaten but hopefully it's healing as it's been taken care of.

Take care of your pet because who knows when he/she might be sick or even die unexpectedly.
