Is there such a thing as friendship sites, if so can you recommend any?
At my age I don't want a partner but a male friend for outings etc would be lovely.
I have 3 really good female friends and we spend time together when our diaries allow, but it isn't the same.
It seems to me men do not join clubs and classes as much as women. I gave a talk recently and every person present was female. I have attended countless classes over the years, again, majority women, and most are now online alienating people even more. Advice would be welcome especially from you gents, where do you hide? Is it really just the pub?
Locally to me they do coffee mornings male and female go to them and I know because of that loads meet up just to go out maybe look to see if there is anything local to you
Leannexxx I know our local age concern does coffee and conversation once or twice a week, but the pictures online look as if they are all old enough to be my parents in their cardies and polyester. I know that is really unkind of me but I would like to meet people who make an effort to keep up with the world. But yes, I should give it a go, you never know!
Are you interested in photography as I know a lady who joined a photography group and met lots of males who became good friends.
