Do You Eat Cold Custard?

Ask a Question

I wasn’t a fan of custard as a kid, but as I got older, I started to

appreciate having custard over certain cakes and crumbles

And I only like it warm, apart from when in trifles

Do you have your custard cold?

Love custard hot or cold. In fact I prefer making it with good old fashioned custard powder rather than eggs.

I much prefer warm custard, when I was younger I used to work in a restaurant kitchen and I used to have a mug full of custard every shift and eat it with a spoon 🙈

Yes, but I'm going to cheat a bit... Shake Shack do some very nice frozen custard concoctions that taste more like ice-cream 🍨

Ah yes, frozen custard! I have yet to try it, but I think I might like it. I guess I like custard either hot or really, really cold

As others have mentioned, I'm also partial to a good custard tart, slice or doughnut 😋

We used to have cold custard in our school, it was the custard leftover from the day before, just poured into big bowls, it used to be popular as they would just spoon it out using big serving spoons so you always got twice as much compared to the hot custard.

I will eat it either way and often cold as I cannot be bothered to heat it! If I have it on hot pudding the two tend to level each other out lol.

Only if it comes in those little ready made pots so you'd have it in a lunch box but if I'm having it over pudding i prefer it hot

I love custard and can eat it cold or hot! When I was younger I used to love the packet custard that you just add hot water too! Since I got older I don’t like this type of custard!
