Emu Escaped in Spain.

Just been reading this very sad story about a poor emu. The emu escaped and was on the loose. Police was on motor cyclists chasing it for a mile before the poor emu dies from stress. This made my blood boil they could have done it a better way. That poor emu. This happened in a town called cagatdel valleys just south of Barcelona Spain. The people of the town. are not happy with the way the police handled it. They do not know were the emu came from. What do you make of it. 
At first I thought this was a joke or spam post but after some google it's in fact a true story. Can't believe they chased it, poor thing was scared of its life and trying to flee to safety.
That's horrible, motorbikes are very loud and scary to animals. They should have just put down bait, hid somewhere and darted it. Obviously weren't very good with animals.
Tasha they could have done it better then they did. That poor emu was running for a mile with out stopping. It just did not know what to.do. they could have called a vet in to dart it. How would these two police man like to have been chances though the town with out stopping.
