I couldn't help but smile when i saw the photo of this vehicle stranded on a tiny piece of land surrounded by water
When i saw the canoe approaching i was thinking to myself 'Here comes the traffic warden to issue a ticket'
I remember many years ago getting my old rover 3500 stuck on the beach in north wales , luckily with some help i got it out despite its' weight

Thankfully not but if you watch 'The booze cruise' (set of 3 dvd's) there's a hilarious bit with them on the beach! Oh yes, and another with vehicles getting caught in the sea in the film Fisherman's Friend.

No not that daft. I live near the beach it happens a lot and you get the mick taken out of you if it happens
I suppose at least they got stranded and their car didn't get waterlogged. You would think people would read the warnings at these places.
No, never got stuck or stranded on a beach but years ago got stuck in the snow. We had to go to the police station to get help.
eyeballkerry Had that myself once E, many years ago , stuck on my own drive as the snow was so deep , had to take the day off work
