Do You Ever Eat at a Restaurant Alone?

If I am ever out on my own and I need to eat, I tend to just pick something up to eat on the go Or if it’s at a cafe or a fast food restaurant, I’d eat alone either at my own table or at a communal table. However, I’ve never gone out of my way to eat at a restaurant on my own
Yes, not too often in the UK, but if it's a place I really want to visit I'd still be willing to go by myself if no one else is interested. When I'm travelling abroad by myself I'll often eat alone in restaurants.
Ah yes, on holiday that’s different, although I probably would still choose the kind of places I eat alone carefully. I’m more likely to go to a canteen style place alone than a full service restaurant
I don't tend to do it in the country too much, but will often dine alone abroad.
Have done many times on business and it is never a problem. I quite like it actually.
Socially, I generally meet friends for dinner dates to catch up. I would have no problem going out alone for dinner. There is less stigma about it these days. When I did dine out alone many years ago, there was always a weird look from staff. But in fairness, they would probably be miffed that they were not getting two people dinning. It is a business after all. I generally only eat out alone when I know restaurants are not going to be so busy.
A few times, yes, but only when travelling, whether that be for work or holidays. Otherwise, I'd likely not go alone.
No I have never eaten in a restaurant on my own and I don't think I could. I would be more inclined to buy something to eat on the go.
I have never eaten at a restaurant alone but I think if I needed to I would. I know some people definitely wouldn't but I'm not so sure what the problem is.
I have to be honest and say it's an insecurity and the possibility that it would appear that I'd been stood up. Nobody said my reasons for not doing it were logical.....
I would pick something up from a shop but i wouldnt sit anywhere and eat alone. Im not sure if id go through mcdonalds drive thru on my own to be honest, id prob just wait until i got home.
Yes I sit down and eat on my own. It is not that often. I don't mind eating alone reading a paper whilst I wait for the food to come. As for deciding to go out for the night on my own. To the cinema yes, to a restaurant no.
