What is Your Favourite Cheap/dupe Perfume?

Ask a Question

I’m looking for cheap perfume but is nice and has some staying power. I usually buy L’aimant from Coty but it’s got quite expensive and difficult to find. Only Boots do it now and not all the time. I am totally out of fragrances. I like subtle floral scents. My bank account is taking a battering at the moment having to spend on important things. I need perfume to take out with me to mask some unpleasant smells. I have a very sensitive nose! Thank you.

Do you ever go to primark? I would pop in there they have loads of perfumes and just smell them and see if there is any you like the smell of.

Also next and Zara just have a good sniff round 😊

JLouM Also Aldi and Lidl do them but can’t remember what they are. If you Google dupes at Aldi or Lidl it might tell you. Hope that helps.

There is a massive thread on Reddit.

It's called FRAGRANCE CLONE LISTS & LINKS - START HERE with perfumes and their best alternatives. Link below

Tom I like it as well.

Most helpful are spreadsheets posted by community members with designer perfumes and best clones, it must have taken them a while to do it. Very impressive work.

I think the best clones are from Maison Alhambra, Lattafa, Afnan or Armaf as these brands come very often as clones for designer perfumes. I cannot comment if all are identical to the original or not. You can also comment in that thread on reddit if you are interested in specific perfumes.

Some designer perfumes are cheap but others cost hundreds of pounds and if you can find cheaper alternatives then why not.

Daffodil90 I've just bought Flora Jade, reviews say it smells like Chanel Cristalle, going to try it out at work today.

elfleur98 I like how they don't irrate my skin as find a lot perfumes expensive ones these days tend to irrate or smell artificial.

I buy perfume from Lidl. It is about £6.99 a bottle. It smells great. Primark, New Look and Next also do nice perfumes that are affordable.

Gucci from Copycat.

It's the women's version (wasn't aware, tbh) so despite that, I really like the scent. I paid like £14ish for it.

JLouM You're welcome.

I love the scent of Gucci Guilty (for Men), but no way will I pay £50~£60 for it. It used to be £25 a few years ago.
