The First Creature That Exists in Both the Real World and Virtual World

It's a simple worm that has been completely simulated in a computer with all 96 neurons and other physical characteristics mapped from the physical world into a simulation. Of course we are a long way from creating a virtual world completely however many argue that we are actually in a virtual world now but that is another story. I'm sure over the coming years more and more sophisticated animals and lifeforms will be simulated. There is a of course a huge moral question about this. To deconstruct a creature just for a program seems to have ethical considerations especially when it comes to more sophisticated lifeforms.
I think this worm has 96 neurons but humans have 86 billion so roughly a billion times more complex. Already the worm simulation takes huge processing power.
Wiggly worms seem somewhat innocuous but send in anteaters or some such and it might cause some etheric disruption eh? 
I find the whole thing scary and do wonder at mans abilities for this stuff when we can't find solutions to so many other problems....disease, poverty etc.
Lynibis We seem more motivated by our curiosity than compassion. I would say disease has quite a high amount of resources thrown at it but poverty perhaps not so much.

I was reading about how the solar system might have been created the other day , very complex but scientists are finding more and more evidence each day
If this information can be used for the good of mankind then i am all for it , we definitely need some help regarding this at the present moment
