I think he's been pushed out to be honest I think he done very good getting them two finals
Saver1 well i agree his tournament record is good but when you look a little closer there are cracks in it.
We have had very favourable runs in those tournaments and have always lost to the good teams.
This is one of the best international squads in the world at the moment and we have some of the best attacking players around yet in loads of the matches we had like 1 shot on target total.
We did well but it’s not good enough given the circumstances

He went being being pushed, I'm glad he's gone, he got a lot wrong, defensive football was so boring and cost us games, the final being one of them
martinlufc5637 I think most of the football was really boring. I think getting to the final was a achievement. Unfortunately nobody remembers who came second.
Not surprised, it was expected i guess. The fans were putting pressure on for it. He brought the team further than anyone else in yonks. Should have had more support imo. I think they'll be possibly crying to have him back soon.

It's so sad, had England won then he would be a hero and knighted but they lost so he's now seen as a zero. Football fans are very very fickle
I dont think anybody is shocked by this news! I personally really liked him and thought he was great for the team, although we didn't win we did get to two european championship finals! I think that is something to be celebrated
And there was me thinking great football has ended at last. Now it’s going to be a guessing game who the next manager will be reported daily in the news.
I absolutely expected this to happen to Gareth, time for a change around for a new manager.
