Will You Watch Bake Off if Alison Hammond is Hosting?
Ask a Question
Found out that Alison Hammond will be presenting Bake Off this year. I love the show, but can't stand the mouthy woman, so I'll be leaving it this year.
Are you an Alison Hammond fan?
Jerseydrew No point giving her a chance because everyone knows how bad she is. I reckon that ratings are going to plummet
I don't know why they keep using the same old faces over and over rather than developing new talent. I am not a fan and find her very OTT, Josie (is that her name?) is the same.
I don't watch bake off anyway but certainly wouldn't want to watch another show presented by her. Is it because they get paid a set salary and therefore show producers want to get their moneysworth, or do they get paid separately for each show? Answers on a postcard please!
Yes I'd still watch it tbh but depends how she is with others and if she's as chatty on there as she is on this morning etc.as that might annoy some.
I won’t watch Bake Off whoever is presenting it. It’s been done to death now and needs axing.
What about the Celebrity for Cancer one with all the no marks on it?
At least it hasn't got Alison Hammond on it.
It makes no difference to me who is presenting this show as I’m not a fan BUT if I could taste it all I’d be there.
I don’t watch and never have watched bake off and I certainly won’t be watching it any time soon, personal choice just not a programme for me
I watch it ever now and then but would not class myself as a true fan. I am really bothered who hosts to be honest
The last season was very weak and I doubt very much I’ll watch it anymore. I find Noel Fielding really annoying so having him paired with the equally annoying Alison would be a nightmare.
I don't mind Noel, I quite like his humour, but that's not enough to make me watch it now that Alison Hammond is on it.
I do get entertained when he’s tried to make a joke with a contestant and they haven’t found it funny because they just want him to go away so they can bake. It’s so awkward it’s funny.
I occasionally like to watch it, it is something we can watch as a couple. I tend to record it and watch it when we have time together.
Some series I might loose interest, but always worth giving a new presenter on a programme a chance, especially if you like the show. Even if they are known for presenting other things and some people have preconceptions.
PhilipMarc There's a few good ones on W. I'm watching Top Chef atm and certainly will be watching My Kitchen Rules when it's back on.
Not a fan of AH/the show. Shame that lesser known presenters aren't getting these types of jobs.
I haven't watched bake off since it moved to channel 4. It no longer interests me. I didn't like when Mel and Sue presented it, couldn't stand either of them.
