Who Hates January
Other
I hate January. It's the longest month nothing to do.weather might be bad. Icy cold. Just fed up. Do you like January or do you hate it.
I don't mind it, as long as I don't get caught in a torrential downpour. I tend not to be too bothered by the cold, but I really don't like temperatures over 30°C in the summer.
If you don't like it move elsewhere, problem solved. The weather is no excuse, you can still do things no matter the temperature.
I love every month. I told myself to complain less because I cant avoid complaining about something in my life. I choose to be grateful for what I have and what I can do to have a little more. If I am complaining and doing the same thing every January then I have a problem with my mindset. The saying goes "Nothing changes until your mind changes."
There is a quote I saw that goes like this: Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
If you really want every month to be different then plan to do something different that will make you a little happier. For me, in January 2019 I am going to attend a course that will increase my value or networth. I didn't do this last January 2018 so I now have the money to pay for the course which increases my chances of getting a higher paid job after completing this course. That alone makes my January great I feel great that I am growing in knowledge and I can earn a bit more for the things I would like to have in future.
Note: I used to hate Mondays..lol but not anymore I have changed my mind to do something different about it.
Keep smiling and I hope your January in 2019 will be different.
We all have to make choice in life to change if we are not happy or stay the same if we are content with where we are in life As long as you are happy
I dont mind it. Its just another month. I have some celebrations coming up in feb so definitely waiting for jan to end quickly
I don't mind it. It is like every other month to me. If it is cold I don't go out unless I have to and just find other things to do
I think a lot of it is the anti climax after the run up to Xmas. Work keeps me busy and I have reached an age where I try to savour the time left to me and not wish it away but I do tend to stay indoors a lot during the coldest months.
